Hi Michael! Great article :)

I see many of my colleague designers complaining about this, especially related to Design Systems. In some cases, when people talk about "best practices" we can see the rage behind their eyes ^^'

Curiously, I've been seeing this type of feeling towards design from clients as well. Once again, from the ones that have a Design System, you start noticing some kind of saturation towards the design. While I completely understand this feeling, I also understand the financial and time constraints behind adopting known solutions.

I think the comment from Yaron Cohen was really interesting because when talking about innovation it matters how much risk you are willing to take. I think one possible approach that can help, whether you are a big company or a small one is running experiments. They can help you mitigate risk while giving room for innovation.

I know, easier said than done :) Running experiments as a routine requires building up an experimentation culture and mindset that not everyone can achieve. But maybe starting small can help?
